Improved compound fertilizer useless (BUG ?)

Improved compound fertilizer (memetic specialization) crafting required 3 deviated mushrooms, but harvesting with this fertilizer give 2 deviated mushrooms only. What the point? Where profit?

I have an option to get this or Claymore Warrior. If it takes 3 deviated mushrooms which is relatively hard to get and you don't even profit then I won't get it even tho it looks cool. I hope its a bug

Crazy that an entire specialization is crippled. This should've been caught in beta :(

I agree it should yield at least what you put in, but it might be that this wasn't designed to be used for lower tier items. For example rather than using for mushrooms, you might use this on Aloe where you want to get both the mutation and the seed yield at the same time since the seeds are pretty scarce.

i use this item for aloe or cucumber it gives good results but the process to make this fertilizer is tedious.. i wouldnt choose it again ever just go with mutation boost and mass plant
