The game world feels dead and empty
Mobs move weirdly and react even worse
4x4 squares of "player houses" EVERYWHERE, it looks like little timmy tipped his lego box into the game world
combat is meh at best
base building feels like a bad mixed bag of UE5 shop assets
crafting is....boring as hell
loot and exploration are even worse
the world feels AI generated.... i mean there was a barracks room, a bed room and a kids room IN A LUMBER MILL UPSTAIRS. Make it make sense

overall a maybe 4/10 game, if im stoned and bored maybe worth playing for an hour,

Potential yes, but nothing will come from that.

Youre better off with enshrouded or 7 days

With the major bugs created after this last patch, this game will not last a month. This is game breaking!!!! I am so upset. I loved this game.

Why do games that are good always have issues like this??? I loved The Last Oasis and they failed to create PVE servers so that game died, too. Sucks. Great concepts for games gone to dust because of stupid decisions, or terrible patches that destroy the game and make it unplayable.

defiance failed for a few reasons (biggest being they never until day it shut down managed to make game smooth and latency ruins games liek it)

you forget while 1 game of a genre is gonna be awful others will be good (destiny for example prior to last few yrs when devs decided to hate and abuse playerbase)

The game wont be for everyone but for those it is made for they will enjoy it.

At least in Defiance the AI was competent enough to kill me and my squads. Here? It's got worse AI than Palworld, even bright pokemon ripoffs are more dangerous than whatever in house crack they cooked!

I believe it's a good mmo tps with survival to keep one busy. I really enjoy it. Not saying some of your points aren't true but still, its fun! Especially for such a low price tag!

I've played both Defiance and FO76.
Neither were anywhere near as playable as Once human when they released.

Defiance had 0 endgame content, literally none. You would run around the map killing world bosses over and over for no reward.

FO76 didn't even work, at all at launch.

Once Human lacks polish, but has infinitely more potential than both those games combined.

Defiance was so broken that often, mobs were not even moving lol 😂

It just released... it's fully playable / free, and it's frickin' awesome.
