Remove Cables !

Base looks like a mess with cables everywhere

power radius system would be better, you place a battery down and you can power anything in radius

Then turn off viewing of the cables...

Press L to hide cables.

Press L on cable and they wont be visible...

WHen you press B look at the command list at the bottom left of your screen. You will notice you can hide all electrical and water lines.

If you were placing cable and hoses down, you should have seen the option.

You can also use those prongs to attach them to walls and such to keep them out of the way

Take note: Even if you hide the cables. Other players can still see all the wires in your base. It is just you who cant see those cables if you hide it using the *L* key.

Keep power generation, make it more of a load draw, make it property wide radiant and lose the cables.

I hate the water pipes more. At least with cables you can put those socket thingies, but the pipes its always straight from the tank to the sprinkler, lets say

Yeah its annoying what I do is try to use a water tank or etc in a straight line below them or at a diagonal where it doesnt go through the floor too much. If you really hate seeing them at all, you can make a sort of chimney room out of walls where it's all contained in a tower like structure and hidden from view

Nah, cables are fine. I actually like it, putting those through the power outlets and make it tidy all around the house.

Now, plumbing on the other hand...
