Electric Drill Worth It?

Hi All,
Is the electric drill worth specializing in?
If not, what level can I expect the Solar Drill to pop up in specializations?

i got the solar drill way before i could even begin to use it, like the 2nd or third spec. Its been pretty great, its an electric drill except if you leave it in your bag in the sun it repairs itself basically. As long as you dont use all the durability bar, you never *need* to make another one again. Pretty cool legendary item. As for the normal one, I don't know. I never took the memetic tree piece because I have the solar one

if you cant get it in your specs try to find someone selling it or ask around if someone will sell you one. It sells to npcs for 600 just for reference but I would pay probably 5000 for it knowing what i know now. Then, to make your money back, go walk around and mine iron (it takes like 1 second to mine a rock with the drill) smelt it into iron ingots (a few hundred) sell it to an npc boom you got your money back and a solar drill. Just stop using it if its gets low and go walk somewhere that has bright sunlight (i think even clouds can block it sometimes). It will say in the middle of the screen something about bright sunlight detected solar drill recharge activated or something like this.

well isn't that interesting, i got the solar drill on my 6th spec, seems to be alot and randomisation involved then.

The normal drill's pretty great too, though.

Both normal and advance drills pop rocks in one poke and only uses 1 durability per rock, with the advanced drill giving higher yields.

i.e: adv.drill: 30 tungsten, 70 iron / normal drill: 25 tungsten, 60 iron.

Never used a solar drill so dunno their yields

Solar drill gives +15-40% to tungsten and aluminum yields. +% Depends from what mats you craft it.

The solar drill is fantastic, it seems to be bugged too because I get the message about it being sunny enough to charge even though it's like 3AM. I've never seen the durability decrease even once.
