how to re-do base easily?
is there a way to pack up everything so I can rebuild my base? or must i place all storage pieces in a corner somewhere, on a foundation, then demo everything at once?

there must be an easier way

You did not read what they asked for. They want to know if there is a better way to deconstruct and pack everything up and then rebuild.

Nothing about rebuilding faster.

i want to move to a new area, AND build a new base. I have found the area where I would like to build. My option is to >Enter build mode >Press Z to move territory.

This will move my base to my location.

But then what?

Demolish the base piece by piece? is there not a way to place all build items into a "temporary storage" so that they can be re-placed in a new area?

I know the dev's know what I mean... they had it in their LifeAfter game xD

its like "base renovation" option or something

You are then. The OP had a good question and there is no proper solution to demolishing.

Destroy foundations, everything drops, job done. Should take no more than seconds, even if the base is large.

You cannot do it that way. The system will give a message about obstructions. AKA everything else on the foundation.
I dont think you can pack everything up, but if you want to relocate base you go to a new area, enter build mode (Press B) then press Z

I am pretty sure they want to build something different than what they already have
If you delete the foundations, everything above will be auto-demolished.

well in that case they may need to destroy... :steamsad:
i saved my current house as a blueprint. looks like there is no "editor mode". i guess i will level my base and rebuild... again...
But why destroy base, when it's so easy to move it with said option ( Z key)? What would be nice is a multi select to move my house or part of it, inside my territory. As previous post said, vest way to destroy home is destroy Fondation

no, bro. you do not understand.

i want to move my territory and build a new base 100%. new design. i have no way to pick up foundations and place them into a storage. they can be placed again only.
