Report a translation problem
you can pump oil, water, polluted water (not sure of the translation on this one) with them.
water requires a terrain without oil or pollution.
polluted water requires exclusively pollution.
oil requires... well oil.
And no there's no way to tell/differentiate (except for the polluted areas, that's what the number on your backpack is for).
I had it on my previous house location where it was just extracting oil and I hated it at first but then saw the benefits. Now I've moved to a nice lake location I just get water and no oil... and I miss not having the oil now. lol. I suppose it's great to have endless supplies of water though.
