Placing Building Pieces

The building placement needs to be a bit smoother cuz every time I put a wall or roof and other building parts. I had to stand in a certain spot for it to work properly because the structure aliment was not working very well, and my friend in the game was having the same issue so he gave up and built his base with a flat roof.

So I was wandering, will there be a smoother building coming in the future update?
