I am playing 75-100 fps but it feels like I am playing on 40 - 50fps is this the server fault or game is just weird doesnt matter if I lock them them to 60fps too

People say that playing through the games own net ease launcher and not steam, fps is better. i can't be arsed restarting to try tho.

i can confirm the launcher is much better, the low fps and stuttering issue seems to be related to steam for whatever reason. hopefully it gets fixed. i really dont want to start again.

IMO it's down to Steam having an extra layer of anti-cheat protection, meaning an additional server to log into, which when player numbers are high produces a lot of lag. It doesn't list anything like EAC or Denuvo being used, but I have a feeling they've incorporated something similar.
