What guns are Shrapnel types?

Googling, this all I can find is people spamming 'best shrapnel build!' that's all identical.
i want a list of the guns that give the shrapnel bonus, so I can make my own build.

Unfortunately, as far as I can tell, there's only like... one good one?

Open your inventory, click Blueprint tab, look through the weapon's details.

The Last Valor is the best one, but you can look through unacquired blueprints in game to see which guns have which properties.

The weapon descriptions tell you what damage they do.
Reading is fundamental.

Then we had that one that did not understand the class type of weapon is on the weapon BP.

That's why I said that i'm looking for a list that sorts weapons by their passive buff type.

Plus, weapons aren't always visible in your blueprints menu until you find them.
The glock pistol didn't show up until I found the blueprint for it. Prior to that, the only guns visible in the handguns section of the BP menu where the R500 revolver and the DE50 Desert Eagle pistol.
Likewise, the .338 sniper rifles weren't visible at all until I found my first one.

So maybe there's some other guns out there that I don't know about.

Try it sometime. You might notice that I asked for helpful information, not snide remarks from the ignorant.

As I've already said, not all blueprints are visible on the blueprints screen until you pick them up.
Yes, some blueprints are available through Mr Wish, (and don't become visible on the BP screen until you purchase them from him) but that's not all of them.

The pump-action shotgun might have been available through Mr Wish (I know the grenade-launcher was) and i'm not sure about the .338 Sniper rifles, but I know for a fact that the stun-baton BP was found in a crate, and that one was definitely hidden before I got it.

So yes, some BP are hidden and not available in any menu until you find them.

Also,the statement "The weapon blueprints are spread over three different menus, not all in one place" alone kind of makes my point for me.

it's clear that nobody here intends to be helpful though, and searching through google makes it look like nobody has yet bothered to create a useful list of weapons.

There is currently only one legendary Shrapnel gun: the Last Valor SCOR. If you want to run shrap, you use Last Valor.

Very easy to build right now as the first two set wish pools are the Last Valor and Shrap Armor.

As Last Valor is built around crit, you stack crit and profit.

The only other two guns in season 1 that work with shrap are an epic pistol and an epic SMG.

I am using Last Valour, i'm looking for a sidearm.

The G17 uses Shrapnel as well, and it's a pretty good gun overall, but it'd be nice if there were a shotgun or sniper-rifle I could use.
Sadly, none of them seem to use shrapnel.

Lots of fortress Warfare guns. Feels like a disproportionate amount.
When I carried a FW shotgun, it'd keep throwing the blue circle down on the ground constantly while I was out and about (making jarring noises when I least expected it) but as soon as the fighting would start, it wouldn't do it anymore.
I don't know if I ever actually benefited from that passive at all.

Shotguns demand a pretty mobile playstyle, so having uncontrollable buffs slapped down in random locations doesn't really feel useful.

I'm not really sure how builds are supposed to work, tbh. Nothing I've seen so far feels particularly good to use, or especially synergistic with anything else.

Well, no. There's that one sniper rifle that triggers unstable bomber on headshots. That was pretty fun, until the damage fell off so badly that I was doing about a third of a random mob's hp with an exploding headshot. Then I had to abandon it.

has anybody noticed that theres AP smart shotgun rounds which specifically give schrapnel damage boost but there isnt a scrapnel shotgun? o3o

If you're having an issue with finding what you want in game you could try Googling a weapon list and then looking through that till you've got the tabs open for all the shrapnel guns.

First of all, this thread is from august of last year. I don't even play the game anymore.
Second, I was trying to make my own build. I wanted a shrapnel build, and I wanted to know what ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ guns fired shrapnel other than the top-tier 1% gun that every single build on the internet was recommending.

There were no lists of every weapon in the game at this time, which I covered in my first one or two posts. There wasn't even a decent wiki.

So I asked here, and got zero helpful responses, as expected.
To be fair though, that's less because of the people and more because the game had like... one good shrapnel weapon at the time.
