just look at the mini-skirts and the fact you can see your underwear with them. Then consider the fact that China has a ban on "adult" "nsfw" content. When the game Devs that are in the more free areas decide to make a game, they're gonna help everyone out just a lil bit by putting things like this into their game.
If this was a Korean game then the "skimpy" outfits would be turned up another 100%. So just be glad that it could be to a point that would be unbearable, but luckily, is not.

To answer the follow up question. I'm playing a female in this game because the males only had feminine features which took away any thought or reason for making a rugged waste-lander... you just can't make that in this game.

when you go into the gear tab and hover over a clothing slot, you can press "V" to hide or show certain clothing pieces you want. I usually like to hide my helmet armor but you can also hide gloves, or your chest armor. Any piece...

i am not prefer Bikini armor style. character skin dont have enough details for qualified visual result. I wish they sell character skin too. Some female skin are quite dirty on face>.<
