Either that, or you're actively ignoring the "turn back now" until the last second, and you're blaming your lack of awareness on the game.
Either way, this is your fault.
You're not wrong, but OPs idea for a forced dismount isn't bad either
You need to GitGud.
Twice I've been speeding along to a World Task location, flying along the road at high speeds and find myself well past the point of safe return. Guess I should be walking everywhere then.
Another option, if the destination for the task is out of bounds then don't offer the destination until it's in bounds (or flag with a warning).
Some people run into problems with this game because they're bringing bad habits with them from other games and essentially "playing wrong", and I'm sometimes guilty of prodding them a little harder than I probably should with the old "git gud". But OP is just trying to play the game. Skill issue? Yeah, they just started as they already stated. But if you're going really fast and don't quite understand what's going to happen, well now you're in a death loop trying to get your dropped items back. Maybe another solution could be to put the death flowers back in-bounds if someone dies out of bounds.
