Polluted water

After reading and searching, it looks like pollution/contaminated areas give polluted water. I'm in a polluted zone and I get both polluted water and dirty water. Probably 25% polluted and 75% dirty. Will that always be the case, or can I move my base to create get more polluted water and less dirty water? I'm running 10 water pumps so the sample size is pretty high.

you have to go to an area where there is a lot of contamination there is an area in the desert that gives a lot of polluted water Polluted only Polluted for drinking water you have to put the base in half so you take both by putting a pump in the safe area, I do 12000 impure acids with 3 large purifiers and 10 pumps.

check the location of the pumps. is 1 single pump getting different sources or are they next to each other? place them there, where your backpack indicates a number.

Don't worry about these mentioned spots because the smart guys (thos TTV smaras8es and their watchers) already took every single spot of such areas leaving others to ... just buy from these guys. This is Capitalism! Not!

And remember, this is only on PVE servers. ;)

There is a place, way north/east on coast i never see anyone. but be warned very high pollution. Not a easy place to put a house

Put your water pumps on land, not the water.
Raise them as high as they will go with Alt+mouse scroll wheel.
They'll only pull contaminated water.
Add one or two more in the water to an osmosis purifier to get pure water to use in refining.

haha true. If only I could make a base in Blackfell oil fields. Only place you can pump crude oil and have a deviation generator up. Sadly, all the spots are taken. ;(
