And people rerun silos and other dungeons for the drop at the end with the boss. The crates inside do reset after a day I think. But ya.
I take it you're new so ya.. But ya, fishing has its purpose. That's why you only fish what you need. Especially if you don't have a fridge or portable freezer to keep them from spoiling.
Fishing is awesome really.
dungeons and silo for stardust source, energy links and other loot like deviant dungeons for the acid and others for easy gunpowder and leveling up your battlepass.
and mods, since the substats really dictate a lot of your dps. id go easy on controllers on easy and really start to use them when hard and pro is unlocked.
Don't forget the displayable fish that you can get from trading in with the fishing NPC. They're pretty cool looking in a tank.
OP, sub bosses give loot. Look around harder before you leave their area.
Mods, resources, star source? You get them from boss drops in dungeons.
Not to mention the plethora of resources available from gear/weapon chests, storage crates, containers, and the enemy drops in those dungeons.
You are absolutely farming.
Pro mode gives mods with a guaranteed purple substat.
I farm them to try to get better substats on my legendary mods.
You playing the same game as the rest of us? Cuz it doesn't seem like you are.
This is Once Human.
Check and make sure you're in the right place, champ. I think you might be a little lost.
If not, then you're just confused.
I added your dungeon worries later in an edit but this person said it even better.
I can make dried meat much faster. One magazine and i have 8 deers without fisshing rod, bite and waiting.
It is worth fishing only for the eel.
My original post was about creates which arent refreshing. If creates arent refreshing, why enemies are? Simply stupid.
Since other people have already educated you on the dungeon bit, likely in futility, I will do the same but for this nugget. You are mistaken, there are many reasons to fish, especially for cooking. You should educate yourself on the sub stats of ingredients used in certain dishes, before you spread more misinformation.
On top of that there are seasonal goals, very useful melee weapons, and deviations that are crucial, all from fishing.
It's not true. Fishing is nearly dead. Season goals it's like when you must do something that you don't like just to get rewards. It's not some challenge or somesort of fun mechanic.
Btw, fishing mechanics is poor designed that's all.
Its bugged as hell, sometimes it says you have no bait, but you do.
Sometimes it says you can't fish there, but if you hold the mouse button a bit longer you suddenly can
Plus the amount of time from the point where you catch the fish to when you can throw again is ridiculous
Also there is pretty much 1 recipe with fish, yeah you can dry the fish, but you can dry every other meat as well, and wild animals are everywhere.
Not once did I mention, or even imply, that the mechanics were fun or good... I pointed out that fishing has multiple uses/needs. On my PVP server, if you aren't fishing, you are not competitive.
