Account gone after re-installing my computer

I'm playing Once Human since release, i've bought some microtransactions and was having a blast with the game. Till last week when I re-installed my computer. I re-installed Windows 11, installed Once Human again, logged in with my Google account that i've used since Beta 1.

Everything gone, like literally everyhing is gone. Not only is my character gone, the game also decided to give me a new UID, my friends also reported that my house disappeared, my microtransactions are gone, I appear as "members" in the guild.

I've contacted support, but all I get is "Thank you for reporting this bug, would you like to rate the support." That's it, nothing else. They just throw it on a bug pile list, nothing else.

So, now I contacted someone else on their Discord, which is also suppose to be "support". I've explained my issue and recieved a message "Please wait." After two days I contacted this person AGAIN and got a message back to explain my issue and give the information. Well, I did this already two days ago??????

So, I explained it AGAIN and now this person said that he is going to send it to the developers. Which he also did 2 days ago, which was apparently a lie. Both are official support members on their Discord. After a week, i'm still at the same spot, without ANY information.

This is literally the worst support i've ever seen in a video game.........

If it gave you a new UID, then you logged in with the wrong credentials.
Double check and try again.
UID and accounts are tied to your login info. You simply used the wrong one.

Like I said, I only have one Google account. So, how can I log in with the wrong account? I even have mails from the beta rewards with exactly the same mail that i'm logged it with.

And even tho when I logged in with a wrong account, then why is my house vanished, why does my nickname vanished from the guild list? Right after I re-installed Windows 11 and re-installed Once Human in a fresh installed Windows 11.

It simply overwrited my account with a new account, otherwise my house wouldn't vanish. Otherwise my nickname wouldn't vanish from the guild list. My friends can't find ANY traces from my account. Nothing, it all vanished.

This can't be simply because of a wrong logged in account, which I only have one to begin with. If I logged in with a wrong email, my house and everything should still be there.

If they have a support to begin with. I also contacted NetEase already, see if they can do something or give my money back.

Close Steam & re-log in running as administrator and see if that reverts your UID to the original login credentials.

Hi All, OP not sure if you had any luck getting your character back. But i'll share my experience here. I installed Once human on a new laptop and couldn't find my character anywhere, tried everything.

The trick was to select my original server from the list of servers and try to create a new character. I went through the steps but the game wouldn't let me continue because the scenario was too far along. So it kicked me back to the server select screen and there was my character....

I got finally my character back without the help of the support team. It seems they are still not fully aware about this issue.

Apparently, there is something going wrong with the login of the launcher, it ask what kind of account I want to use. I select my Google account, select my correct Gmail and it will bring me to a external site.

Here is where it goes wrong, the launcher doesn't recognise the external login, and it will create just a "guest" account. I eventually reset my launcher, and tried again. Eventually my account got recognized by the launcher.

What I did was, I logged in on my Gmail account on my computer and put it to "remember" for example on gmail.com .After that, I logged in on the official Loading Bay website and set it to remember me aswell. I re-installed the launcher and tried to login again and suddenly I saw that I wasn't logged in as a Guest anymore but as the first letter of my name, the P.

I launched the game and indeed, got my old character back. There is something going wrong with the Gmail, exernal site and launcher and I think personally it's the launcher. It just logs you in as a Guest, not recognizing your account.

It cost me up to 2,5 months or something to get this fixed on my own.

Hello, after reinstalling PC and logging in i noticed my character missing. Turns out i was auto-switchet to NA server. After switching back to Europe - everything was back. So check what region your client is poined to. Maybe this will help.

If you read my comments, you will notice that I have a different user ID (doesn't matter if you login in NA or EU, you keep the same user ID) and I already explained a work around.

When I use my Google account directly in the launcher, it will create a new guest account. But when I first login on the official site, and then use the launcher login through the official site, I will get my correct account back.

I can't login in directly on the launcher. I always need to login on the official site first with my Google account and then on the launcher. If I skip the official site, it will log me in on a guest account.

Which is strange because both are Google accounts.
