Season mark

How do you rank it up? we got the one mark in phase 4, and unless all 3 marks are in phase 6 i'm not understanding how to increase its rank from 1-4. Any idea's or know how to rank it up?

The couple things I've read in this game's pure encyclopedia of menus is that they're earned over several seasons in the same year.

That could be wrong, but that's what I remember.
