Eternaland building problems (pipes/wires not connecting)
After spending a lot of time building my farm i was finally ready to get power and water supply connected to everything but then noticed something weird, between certain facilities i could not connect the wire for electricity or pipes for water.
After trying to figure out how to solve this for like an hour i just could not figure it out.

So i started doing some testing and these are the results:

I placed over a wide area in the cave of Eternaland a lot of water storage tanks and tried connecting as many of them to each other as i could, the result showed clear areas of tanks that could be connected, i have added screenshots to show what i mean, i put colored lights above the water tanks to show which ones connected to each other so you can see the areas.

Ive also tested this above ground and found the same thing as shown in the screenshots so this happens all over the island.

This problem frustrated me to no end when building and i would like to see it fixed, and since i dont know where the areas are im scared of putting any time in building only to find out that things dont connect which means i have to destroy everything and start all over again.

I am having this same issue. It has been very frustrating to set up planters and watering in Eternaland. It has taken me multiple tries to get even the most basic setup connected. It won't let me select items to connect pipes and wires to.

I finally got mine to work by connecting them in a smaller area first and then moving them to where I wanted them. This too was not without multiple issues. When I tried, for example, to hookup the sprinklers I connected them and tried to move them. The first one moved without issue, but the 2nd one would not move and instead created a duplicate sprinkler that was not connected. It took me 20 min of trial and error to get a new one hooked up. The issue was made even worse when the game would not let me delete the bugged sprinkler. It took another 15ish min of moving it around and logging in and out to finally get rid of that bugged sprinkler.

I am building my main base in that established house on the lake using hydro power. I was able to get 3 hydro power working, but if I have need for more power I hate to think what I am going to have to go through to get that to work.

Same here but in normal map. Auto "watering" did not longer work. Only way to get it work is putting water in thís "sprayer" thing. Also the adjust , e.g. 70, won't work.
Try everything incl. complete rebuild... no succes.

Well, I am now stuck. I can not get new grow lights attached at all. Anything that was existing previously simply will not let me attach new connections.

And my bugged sprinkler has re-appeared and is not able to be deleted again.

the entire game is AI made, it feels like half coded system, you know not "finished" systems but good ehnuff.
the build system is extremely bugged, snap points that don't work or the order you need to build parts in order to get your roof closed and that sort of things, its annoying.

buggie or broken
- fishing
- build system
- perk upgrades (some flat out don't work)
- crafting / farming, you place a stack of food in fridge and the ENTIRE stack spoils at once.
- small pumps some work without power and some need power, the flow keeps switching or flat out don't work
- bike, cars feel like driving on ice
- monster scale goes from stupid easy to stupid "to" hard

i can go on... but you get it. this game plays and feels like an early alpha and they are going to wipe and change out map and story (YEA right, this i have to see, can't wait for that fallout)

another ethernaland bug, new since last patch today: everytime i try to place something from the trap-category, i get the message "Trap limit in Ethernaland has been reached", even though i already deleted ALL traps i had placed previously. i now have 0 objects from the traps category on my whole map and still get this messages. doesn't matter if it's a shotgun turret or an updraft device, can't place anything anymore. can someone confirm if thats a general bug or something specific to me?

Same in open world. Basically I ignore them, go on missions, comes back. All is working again.

This doesn't work in Eternaland. I logged out and came back later all it did was make issue worse.

update on the bug i encountered: this seems to have to do with the door portal from the strange door deviation. tried to replicate it on another char where the trap placement worked fine, got the same message of "trap limit reached" AFTER placing 2 portal doors down, regadless of there actually being any traps on the map or not. one portal only is fine though, just the second ♥♥♥♥♥ things up. wild bug...

I think many of the problems with Eternaland stems from the fact that it was added in as a way to placate those players who were vehemently against the seasonal wipes.
It seems they still have some things to work out.
I guess blame the wipe haters.

the game launched with that eternal lands, they did not add it because of the haters.

Guys! I figured it out, it has to do something when you place a structure. when it like flickers on place it does something weird to the structure (new group or something). Easiest way to figure out if you can connect to something, is as follows.

1. Make a water pipe from something to something else.
2. Hover over each structure if the water flowing effects disappear you won't be able to connect
3. Replace structure and pray for it to snap and place right, repeat step 2.

Job done. Took me about 2 hours of building to find this and then figure out that this is an easy fix if you use the visual, sucks to rebuild something. Most of the time i've realized it happens if something isn't connected or if the flicker happens

eternal lands needs oil fields, and corruption area's, basically it need everything your normal senario has.

You know how we have a certain utility threshold in game? I believe the same restriction holds true in Eternaland and going past that limit starts causing issues with the code and utilities stop functioning properly.

My suggestion is try to stay under the 250 limit and if you have to break that limit try to hook up your pipes and wires first.

I was trying to make a massive farm in eternaland and the system kept breaking not letting me connect pipes or wires. I deleted everything and started over, started with the pumps, filtration system, sprinklers, and lights. Once I confirmed those worked flawlessly the first time, I then started laying down my plots of soil. I stayed under the 250 utility limit and everything has been working fine.
