Carnival of doom revolver not in location

Hi I have just come across a video on Youtube showing me I can activate the Carnival of doom, however when I get to the location and take out the NPCs, there is no revolver to activitate. Does anyone know why? I am wondering if its because I have not completed the first mission yet?

No never got to the bottom of it...I just figured my game was glitched or they had taken it out of the game

Nope, just did it yesterday.

i started the game 2 days ago and when i tried the quest i could not find the revolver at the location it should be. has anyone found a solution ?

I just figured it out as I had the same issue.

The Carnival of Doom task is automatically assigned to you after you meet Maxie when entering Meyer's Market as part of the story mission. Until you have completed that much of the main story, the revolver will not be in the warehouse in the Junkyard.
