Similar options to what I was offered - precious metal refining is a no-brainer and almost always useful, and 'treasure hunter' will mean you never hurt for energy links, as long as you don't mind a little mining. Get seafood in canned oil in your inventory, an electric drill with treasure hunter (don't forget to break down and build your supplies station again to get the boost). wait until you find at least silver ore, eat the fishy treat, then mine for a half hour (or longer, if you have cooking boosts).
