If you're geared enough you can run the other silos solo (just don't choose a mode that's above your lvl for now).
The Forsaken Giant has ofc mechanics in there, and there are videos explainin what to do and suggestions on what to bring. Stardust soda so you can double jump, coz boyeeee I did a lot of jumping in that one. The one time I forgot to bring a can.. :/
You need to physically go to the silo to go in solo.
Just keep an eye on chat to find people to run with. You can press U to view a team list, but many don't use the filter to show which monolith/silo they're running, so you still have to pay attention to chat and communicate with team leaders to find out what they're running.
You can always form your own team, then use the gear icon in the top right to show others what you're planning to do, and broadcast it to the chat so that interested players can just click the chat message to join up.
For Prime Wars, they take place in a merged area of the map. So, you don't have to be on a particular world for it. All worlds merge in Prime War zones.
Take rockets or, if you have them, gatlings and biomass. That will help take down the PW boss' shield so you can unload on them with your regular weapons.
There's a multitude of videos about boss and PW strategy that I would recommend since you may be a little late to the party for some of them and you wouldn't want to be the one who shows up not knowing what to do.
That, or just ask in chat. Chat is a very powerful tool for multiplayer games.
Next questions: Im level 48 now... I think Pro mode just unlocked yesterday on my server. I joined a team mid-run during a silo run and it was pro. Held my own but went down a fair a bit.
Considering that I havent really done any silos, is it worth while for me to run them solo to learn before joining a group? And if so, should I start on normal, or start on hard? Or just do Pro?
Finally did some reading on BP, tiers, calibration, mods, etc yesterday and am running a T5 power surge build as of now. So killing things is getting much easier than it was a day ago.
If you're properly equipped, you should be able to rather easily solo Silos/Monoliths on Hard/Pro for all your farming needs, since the enemies scale to the number of players. In order to get you started, try running the Silos on Hard solo to earn the mods you need for your build, then progress to Pro once you feel confident.
Learn the layout on Normal (but don't spend any Controllers on the reward), then move on to Hard/Pro as you grow. After lvl 40 it doesn't matter much, since by then you should be running T5 gear with some moderate calibration (or +10/+6 if you already have your endgame gear/set).
Understood, thanks.
Last Question (I think)... whats the difference in reward between normal/hard/pro? Just more materials? Better materials? Better stats on items? Different materials/items? Is it a case of "run what you can farm quickly and efficiently vs doing the hardest content for the most stuff" ?
