Worth playing before wipe?

So, is it worth getting into the game now before the wipe or should i just wait?

Maybe gather some starchrom and pick up some legendary blueprints, they carry over.

It's the only reason I still log in.

Well if you can actually GET ON a server that isn't full. It'll be good to get starchrom and buy some blueprints (which won't be wiped).

Most likely you'll only be able to get on a newer server which will have a fresher season. Outside of that, you'll want to focus on things that survive the wipe like blueprints and stellar planula from map completion.

If you start on a later server the phases might still be in the early stages.
But i see no reason to avoid jumping in. Its not much effort to get to 50 and experience most of the content, it just took us longer cuz we were baby gated per week.

But you can get it all done in under a week if you have the time or in about a week if you play a few hours a day, pending on how much you spend on building a house and just exploring around aimlessly.

Like other people all ready said you can join a server who started later that way you can still enjoy all the phases, and if you play a bit you catch up quite quickly.

It is not a wipe, it is a selective reset and sure. It all carries over, either to Eternaland or directly to the next season. Everything gets retained in one way or another.

That's subjective. I think this game has some of the worst character models in recent history, but I'm glad you like it at least.

You could grab a full set and weapon before the reset which would give you a boost for the next one if you enjoyed it. Blueprints, mods, and a host of other things carry over with you.

For everything else, there will be some currency system which will allow you to transfer it from the main storage system into the new season, but no word on what the caps will be. Still, having a full legendary set and weapon that you can craft tier I-V off the get go, with all the mods to support it, is a big advancement off the rip.

Just don't get suckered into building your home into something extravagent. While you can save that blueprint as well, your time would be better spent focusing on the things you can carry over to give you an edge. Good news is that the community event kicks off tomorrow and if you can get to lvl 25, that's another 7.5k of starchrome that can either be spent on blueprints or saved for next season.

Servers wipe at different weeks. You can find a server that just started. There is no "global" wipe.
