Once Human

Once Human

Ammo needs more weight or limited stacks
There is no survival feeling when youre running out with thousands of bullets in your inventory that have next to no impact on how much you can carry.

It wouldn't matter, you can't repair any gear you pick up anyway and I don't think calibration BP's from gear destruction will carry over to new seasons? So people would sacrifice inventory for ammo + meds anyway and mods seem to have no carry limit, along with deviations.

Just dont take thousands of bullets with you, problem solved.

And then when you are in a pro only dungeon, you find yourself out of ammo.

Take thousands of rounds with you anyway, because even if its nerfed, not a problem. Monoliths and dungeons, important drops are zero weight anyway. You can get mats easy in the overworld.

I store them all in the dozens of ovens I pick up from dead enemies. That used to be a big problem for me, but then I figured out how to pack the engines I'm carrying into the ovens so the bullets don't rattle around. Now I can happily walk around without the noise and smile at the dozen trees I cut down and am dragging around with me.

If the weight of bullets is ruining your immersion you should really be paying attention to everything else you're carrying.

Bullets sponge mobs is the answer.

Please no... I carry nearly 20k LMG tungsten bullets for big boss fights or PW. My car is already carrying mats for making Gatling guns and the bio missile(they are REALLY heavy, so you can carry those if you feel like it ain't "REAL" enough for you).

Instead of stupidly adding more weight (yes you heard me, stupid and also lazy), make the survival situations in games like Green Hell (literally anything kills you there, even a small frog) or Fear and Hunger(worst, punishing game ever created).

Imagine your sanity drops and your character starts hearing voices and eventually starts hallucinating stuff. Then from your seriously low sanity, it starts droppin your hp/second. This is a more creative survival aspect than "add more weight to the bullets" >.> It's like you never played hard survival game before.
Going hungry, they can make your character slow and become sluggish coz of hunger. Same can be said about thirst. You can send these ideas to their discord, I mean where were you when the discord server was out for the early cbts and they were askin for suggestions through there? :o

We already have the body weight system in this game, which kind of punish your char for being under or overweight (not what you're carry), so the fact that you should avoid eating and drinking things that irl would get you sick so you don't lose weight. Can be also said to people who are overweight. And need to lose weight to get the benefits and buffs characters who are in the right weight would get.

All in all this isn't a hard core survival game. It's more casual. Which is fine with me. The devs are still finding a sweet spot for these mechanics.

Hell NO. Please dont. This game is already an inventory simulator.

you clearly havent fought many of the top dog bosses did you. i agree that in the wild having loads of ammo is not really surviving BUT in a boss fight i'm spending all of it for some reason. i'm so unlucky with unlocks, just to give example i unlocked that useless SCOUT armor like 20 times over, i berely got any other drop, weapons same deal, i can't kill the lv60 boss because of it, i'm lv50 or what ever the cap level for player is again and have CRAP GEAR, and on top of that, because they did not explain the "wishmachien" out in any good way, i wasted ALL my starcrom or what ever that is called again on wishes and they where POOP too. i did so many things wrong in this season i better just quit and wait for next season.

If you cant solo something, get other players to help, thats the whole idea of a mmo.
In the case of a solo instance, theres no way in hell that any instance in the game requires you to horde thousands of bullets for different weapons in your inventory.
