Theta hard silo way overtuned lately?
Once I hit 50 I ran all the silos hard difficulty a bunch of times.

Today I was looking for a chest mod upgrade, so went to do Theta. Died about 20 times before I gave up. I ran it a good 10 times hard before with maybe one close death experience.

The Snatcher (tall thing, hit weakspots, it opens head) summoned a burrower guy and like 20+ other mobs, then proceeded to one-shot me with the spit attack it does. I could have sworn before it summoned mobs continously; not all at once, and that spit wasn't so deadly.

The other boss you turn statues to bring it up, and after you do some damage it makes a shield around it so you have to get close... but it summoned 20+ flying beetles with ranged attacks INSIDE THE SHIELD. As soon as you enter the shield you are barraged to death instantly.

Did they overtune this lately?

you got to hit his weak spots over and over and he is easy even on hard. I farm that silo and am done in 2 minutes

Im running theta Pro solo, but im with a pretty decent sharpnel build going, with full lonewolf and AK SCOR, but still that spit did tons of damage when it hit me.

Gotta mind there was a dmg nerf with the patch the other day,and i think some changes to make it harder to farm hard mode and pro silos...thats what happens when people say contents to easy

is this real? did they really just turned the values up to make it "hard"? no new behaviour, no new unique attacks, no new enemy abilities, just simply upping the enemy's damage reduction?

The ones I have played have new mechanics and attacks from normal to hard.

you misunderstood, i know that THETA silo HARD and PRO gives new mechanics to the bosses (the testicle boss gets a barrier and summons minions on low hp, the 3 leg weakpoint boss spawns spores that grants boss immunity and spawns minions), my question is if @Stestorm's claim is true that devs buffed the enemy's damage reduction to heighten difficulty, which is the cheapest method to make the game more difficult.

Theta Pro is one of the the harder Silos to farm. I finished it 10 times yesterday trying to obtain a mod piece with specific attributes and still haven't gotten the one I need.

The optional boss can be killed before it spawns the shield if you have enough dps in the party. If it doesn't get killed quick enough run to the back of the pillars and kill the mobs that are shooting there before fighting inside the sphere. You want to get rid of all the ranged and healing squids.

The main boss is not exactly tough in itself it's the drillers that don't have any weak spots. The best thing to do is get used to dodge rolling them while killing the main boss. Have one person stand in the pipe way entrance and it will aggro a few of them while they cannot get any hits and have 2 others run around and kill the poison spores. If lucky the person standing on the pipe will aggro the drillers and can slowly kill them if needed or just hold aggro.

Recommended to have 2 dps that can hit 1.5m / 2mil + dmg each

I had a problem with the statue boss because of the swarms. But the other boss? It was doable. Run around the pillars to stop the flying projectiles. If you have upgraded armor and weapons and some form of a build, it's not difficult.

All silos are still soloable even the pros once you know tactics even with them seemingly nerfing our weapon dmg (nothing mentioned on patch notes) on some builds with the aug 1st patch,pro modes also seemed to get some type of dmg reduction on mobs..used to 1tap pro mode mobs with my sniper set up but not now dmg is less in pros 25k head shots doing hards or on dummys down to 9k on pro targets,and used to hit 12k frost vortexes on my vortex build now highest i seem to hit is 9-10k if im lucky even on dummy..all they said on discord was there was some balancing on dmg output as some build were over performing

there are weekly debuffs that hard/pro mode has. I am pretty sure they just rotated which debuffs the boss has today.

don't forget to look up the current dungeon modifiers. sometimes they can heavily nerf certain builds, e.g. bosses can have elemental resistances (so fire/ice/surge builds are way less effective), or you have to deal damage constantly without interruptions (so long reload weapon builds are less effective), etc.

On pro, the elites at the end of theta are damage sponges. It is the only silo I don't want to do on pro. I enjoy dieing in games, mind you. That is how spongy the enemies are.
