2 Major Problems seemingly being ignored.
#1. Glitched gates, only way to Mystical crates like Greywater Industrial Zone for instance. Gate to elevator opens, but there is another gate behind it closed. Bunch of patches out and no fix? It prevents me from completing the town! There are various elevators too, allow you to press button but nothing happens, or like Industrial Zone there is a door behind a door.

#2. Inventory management/stacking. Says crate has no space, when it does. Can't merge things when they should easily stack. Since I started playing this game, it's not been fixed.

Please fix these annoying bugs. And thanks for an otherwise great game.

#1. I did not encounter this, I already cleared all area challenges.
#2. Storage box need one slot free in order to stack. If you fill all slots it will says no more space.
Also some items are treated as different ID, for example the same consumables you buy vs the one you craft. And then if it's food Chefosaurus also add variant to the same item because they are enhanced compared to standard. So they won't stack.
Devs don't read Steam Discussions. Like, at all.
So, you're just another person screaming into the void.
To report bugs, use the website or official Discord.
Those are the only places the Devs look.

Ya but their discord doesn't even have a bugs channel or anything too. So err.. but i figured out the inventory button problem.. if you just keep clicking it, slowly everything merges. The gates problem does exist and there are some vids on youtube showing the problem. You're just lucky if it didn't affect you.
Yeah, same issue; items will not merge. Items with a timer I can understand, although it is still annoying (i.e. two stacks of cooked meat), but even two stack of salt, both made by me with sea water and with no timer; I can't stack them together (stack of 98 and stack of 2).
It gets even weirder; stack of 100 salt, stack of 2, stack of 2. Put 98 of the 100 in, put 1 of each of the stacks of 2 in to make 100 (theoretically all 3 stack are compatible) cannot stack the 2 remaining stacks of 1 into a stack of 2...

Do you have Chefosaurus? Anything made by Chefosaurus can have varied degree of bonus and they won't stack.
Meat will also not stack as they can have different buff depends on what type of meat. Meat, fish and herbs can have different buff on the same dish, for example crocodile meat has 5% polution resist, lamb meat has slow hp regen.
items not merging usually have to do with one being bought, and the other being made. Like my made long term activators won't merge with bought long term activators. It gets worse when you have two stacks of the same item, and a third stack that exists because something like chefosarus. Especially when the game limits how much storage you can build.

like how does nobody see this problem..? I got a stack of ore i just mined, i got 300 in a crate, I try and merge 200 more. it doesn't merge. i got copper ingots, 25 in a crate i got 100 on me, hit merge. nothing happens. I thought I figured it out, multiple presses of merge but it does not work consistently. someone said, remove an item from the chest and do it, ya it merges a few more things, but not everything because it fills the last slot.

It's bugged and so obvious... I'm not talking meat or things with dynamic values.. I'm talking simplest items like and ore and ingots, acid, rocks, it's perfectly obvious the problem.
I want to add to this simply because the Ingots really dont need to be separated based on what kind of smelter they were put into. I found out this is why my ingots dont stack. Ingots other people trade to me stack, but it is entirely dependent on the perk that was associated to the furnace they were fired in.

This makes sense for food, but not for Ingots, which do not have a variable statistic that affects crafts of armor or weapons. The question is, will it change later in the year and is it preparation for later technology that would allow for us to tweak gear based on ingot value...

Same goes for Activators. I've got the +10% buff so any activator I make, will not stack with dropped Activators or Activators crafted by other people without the perk.

The variables are interesting but I wish we had larger bags dedicated to one type of item, such as a medicine cabinet, due to said variable perk issues.

my ingots all come from the same furnace.

As for recipes, it is based on when the food was made, who made the food, and if the extra buffs are the same.It seems foods with a significant time gap will not stack. Even if they are non-perishables.
