Digby boys..update?

So is the limit for digby boys 2 now? i see people rocking 3+ digby boys and i keep mining ores ( especially silver ) and i neverget past 2 digby boys.. did they nerf it where the limit or 2 or am i tripping

your tripping, i'm doing a boss to get the dog, i'v done em over 20 times now i got TWO, really what is my luck, my friend runs it two times and he gets TWO....
not to mention the lighter deviant from the antena boss, i got NONE after doing it 15 times so far...

i'm kinda leaning toward that the drop chance is not = for everyone.

Also what boss drops digbys?

digboys only drop from silver ore or gold ore if i'm not mistaken, but most bosses drop some sort of deviant, like the hound drops him self, and its a very good attack one, sadly my luck on it is none existence.

I got a bunch of them in the beginning on the game release, like 15 or 20, they were dropping like crazy, sometimes I got 2 out of one silver vein and I never actually farmed for them, just mined silver when I stumbled upon it. Now they barely drop, maybe 1 Digby out of 10 veins, so they definitely did something to the drop rate.

I noted the same.
Got a lot of them in the 2nd week, I think I had a hoard of nearly 20, but this last week I mined a lot of silver nods and got none. I even sold many of the low level ones thinking that they had some cap, I have 4 four now but still no drops.

There's no limit on Diggy bois as far as I can tell. I had like 7 or 8 of them in containment units at one point. Just got all of them mining silver and gold.

I don't think the drop rate for them was changed. I didn't go hard on mining last week and I still got 1 or 2 of them.

I think you probably just hit a run of bad RNG tbh. Go ask on the discord though. That would be the best way to see if other players have experienced something similar.

Ive only ever had Digbys drop early when mining tin, and later when mining silver. I dont think they have a chance to drop from other ores, Or its a very small chance from other ores.

I have a ton of them, 8 or 9 or more (lost track) they keep dropping from silver ore for me. I need to turn them into Eternaland sand.

I get tons of them, but I also mine a lot of copper, tine, and iron.... mostly off copper funny enough but they're also trash digbys with only 1 having more than 1/1 *shrugs* it's like the paper doll(loot items in structures, not crates), purely random when gathering resources...

I got 10 running on Server 6 and have more in reserve. Started on a new server Server 52 and just found my second after 50 hours (only). Also looks like silver is now rarer to find than gold. Pretty sure newer servers got nerfed.

I seem to be getting paper doll and ginger bread only on the new server, (server 52) while the spread on the older server (server 6) is wider. Some things certainly have changed.

I stopped using the Dighby Boy. They dont mine Aluminium/Tungsten and thus are worthless for the level 35 and level 45 areas.

Some of the deviants drop like ready money, only had 1 extra digby from silver, but the beaver shows up regular whenever I'm near a dock, got enough paperdolls to make a book, and oddly 6 jellyfish, and didn't even notice those climbing into my backpack. The dimensional cat constantly re-spawns at the pool in Tall Grass. What I would like is another Lethal Rabbit to farm rawhide and meat, maybe I'll try killing and skinning more bunnies see if another joins me. That's how you get the Rabbit hunter
