Question can you prevent pollution damage in your base?

I have searched everywhere but no one is talking about it at all, I’ve seen videos of acid farms in star heavy areas where the person walks into their base and the pollution number disappear but I can’t for the life of me figure out how!! And no one says a word about it. If anyone has any tips it would be massively appreciated because I can’t farm acid and candy to kill the pollution damage constantly

I think those videos have their bases located in a way that their base is on both in the boundary of polluted area and non polluted area..you just need to build your base on this location.

Uh.... I only was able to put my front area of my base to have stardust pollution for acid farming. But most of my area is stardust pollution free. If it disturbs you too much, make the wheat ale and it prevents stardust pollution on your character for at least 30 mins. I drink one before handling Manibus, because boyo that thing releases too much stardust pollution when you get too near.
