7 day base loss. Is this true?? DEVS!
I hear if you don't log into the server within 7 days you lose your base. Is the what the devs have decided? If so my game is screwed as i have a 2 week family holiday booked. Atleast make it 3 weeks ffs. 7 days is totally unfair. Personally i think the game is damn awesome. Loving it from the start. :-)

I doubt this is true as there are old bases everywhere. I have wanted a decay timer. The servers reset in three weeks so you will have to start over any ways.

Not the best answer but if you have someone you can trust let them log on for you while you are gone.

your base just despawned. but you dont lose all your stuff. Just B and Z

It is true. My husband just finally logged in after trying to download this patch for days (after a week of illness beforehand and no game time), and his base was gone. He did have the option to place it again, but the 1-week timer is ridiculous for the average adult player. We have lives outside of the game.

Yeah I just came back from a week long vaca and it was gone, but packed up. I just had to replace it down {although my farm that I planted is gone :steamsad:). It's probably to keep servers clean and optimised from players no longer playing, which makes sense.

1 week is not ridiculous as the game so the Server have a season of only 6 weeks so anyway after that time you need to start new,for that they kick out inactive players after 1 Week so new active players can join in that way the Worlds dont die after 3 Weeks

I got my base removed once by a random world event. All you have to do is press B then Z.

it's actually a good thing to avoid afkers to hold the best spots. If anything in your base get destroyed, usually, all the ressources will be sent to the vault. Don't worry too much for your base, it's likely to be fine after your holidays ;)

Play a different game then? Not to be rude but this is a 6 week season. You are taking off for a full week. Thats quite alot. Average adult player has no issue logging in at least once or twice per week, if not more.

This timer is for those people who made a base, and then decided to quit the server. 1 week is alot of time for a base to sit in an area that is needed especially pollution and oil.

If you arent playing more than once a week why would this be a big deal to you anyway? Just to complain?

Well some people are more casual than the others. But maybe the players who are "too casual" don't always understand that some video games require a minimum of commitment especially online games.

At least, the base is not really lost, you just need to place it back so no one is at loss.

No, the one week timer is perfectly fine. I work 60-70 hours a week on average and I still have the time to log in every few days.

People just want to be catered to so they can lock down the prime real estate in game and screw other players out of resources. If real life takes priority, it takes priority. It's called being an adult. Stop trying to inconvenience others because you feel entitled to have the world revolve around you.

i agree, and hey, if they want to be casual, go for it, but from what i can tell, the average gamer has hit end game and is waiting for more content to be released.

There is a small niche of adult players who have "game" night and spend a couple hours playing and log out. This game is not for them. They can enjoy it as much as they want, and maybe the devs will make a longer season for a server. For now as you said, they havent lost anything and i doubt they are in a polluted oil spot. No way with their commitment to the game.

I like you lol. What server you on? We got a big group of growing players on server 78 and 104 and plan on hitting S2 when it releases together.

I work the same kinds of hours pal and also lead a hive and warband on TWO servers.

I got a group of seven of us on the Manibus shard, sub-server PVE-01-00011. We're all professionals who work a lot during the week but the weekends we get together for a few hours to run stuff. Today we got everyone their nightmare pass in prep for next week. We'll coordinate and see if we can all get together next season.

The progression stuff is really balanced and forgiving. Even for adults who have other priorities. Some people just suffer from 'main character syndrome' and would be happier in a single player title with couch co-op. Drives me nuts.

I'll get you our discord where we are at. We are figuring out plans right now for how everything is going to work out.

But we are the same. Most of us work during the week. But got a solid group of people all willing to help and play together. Having a solid server with alot of like minded people would be pretty nice.

I am a big path of exile fan, so seasons do not bother me. Even play some d4 now that its gotten "better", though poe2 will be my jam when it releases.

Steam just has a large toxic community that destroys games by making demands of devs that essentially make the game worthless. They review bomb, write negative reviews for no reason at times as well.

Not going to let these people ruin this amazing game.
