I've never seen one, no. As far as I'm aware, the only one you can get is the one at the beginning.
It's not a huge loss. There are far more better deviants to be had. I don't even take mine out of my backpack. It has no securement unit in my base and hasn't left my backpack in weeks.

Of course u can find another one, u can check this link for different places where u can find one and all other defiants. But i think ur first butterfly can´t be deleted cause he´s bound on u but im not really sure actually.

how did you lose it? have you tried making an enclosure and seeing if its in the list to deposit?

You can find more around the map, however the butterfly is useless, once you realise that its the first deviant and the worst of all combat deviants, you will never use him or her or them again. Never!

Festering Gel FTW. Taken damage and also lost Sanity? Get the Festering Gel out until the auto-regen fixes you up, then stick it back in the backpack asap. It saves wasting loads of Activators and Sanity Gum/Mushroomsto heal up.
