GeForce Now Patching

Does anyone know why it's still patching on the GFN client?

I was able to play on Thursday after the big patch, around 4 or 5pm BST, and had no issues on the next day when I came off around 5pm BST to see that it was patching again till 11pm BST last night. I managed to play a bit till I had to come off before going to bed. But now it's patching again as of writing this post?

I get why the game was down on GFN most of Thursday, but what's with all the other downtime? Its kinda killing my motivation to play this game at the moment, as ive only just gotten into it. Thanks.

How long did you have to wait last time? I just bought a subscription on GFN just to play this game but if I won’t be able to play for hours I don’t see any worth in it… lol

Well for the big patch on Thursday, I think the game would have been down for around 12 hours? I was asleep for most of it though, so wasnt a huge issue. Yesterday would have been 6 hours if it stayed down the entire time, not sure what happened as the game was working fine, and then it said it was patching when I decided to come off to make dinner and catch up on TV for a few hours.

I've had no issues all week with it though, so I'm hoping it's just an anomaly, and these downtimes are just hotfixes quashing bugs introduced by the big patch, but there is gonna be another big patch in a couple weeks so this could happen a lot in the future.

From what i read, that most ppl. with GFN got this problem and much less without it.

GFN is really just starting to make me want to cancel my sub with their constant patches for no reason for the game. My friends who all have better computers and can play through steam says there is nothing wrong with the game and its making me not able to play with them. Hopefully GFN fixes their ♥♥♥♥ soon

It's been up, then a couple hours later it's down. Then back up, then down. I was just playing it, stopped to go eat and came back, now it's patching. Something weird is going on.

Sure, No reason. Someone just thinks it's funny to patch this game for no reason.

Just because you don't know the reason doesn't mean there isn't one. First world problems.

alright then smart guy what do you think the reason is? you stated as well that it just keeps going up then down over and over even when you were playing, notice anything wrong with the game that needed a patch? especially one so game breaking its been requiring the game to go through this all day the past couple of days? Also bold of you to assume its a first world problem when others are having the same issue with GFN not giving a statement as to why they are doing it in the first place so all we know is that they could just be patching nothing

I just had this happen 3rd day straight of playing.. sent feedback ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about it and the patch was instantly done. Maybe coincidence but.. see if y'all get lucky?

My gforcenow have patching message in one pc, but I can play the same game was locked ther, in my cel phone whit same account...it have no sense.
