Making Acid too Expensive for what it takes
As Title says, Making Acid is far too expensive for what it takes.

First you have to get polluted water with a pump, that's 10 power. (5 minutes)
then you have to put the polluted water through an osmosis purifier at a 2-1 ratio, that's another 10 power to get impure acid. (takes 1 minute)
You also need purified water, which is another water filter, either 6 power or 10 power for a second osmosis
Then when you finally have the acid and purified water you need to put it through a Brewing barrel at a 10-1 ratio to get a single acid and that takes 20 minutes.

So much power used, so much time taken, and I can get more acid then this in seconds simply by killing a zombie.

why is this recipe so involved for the tiny amount you get from it?

this is the slowest and least efficient way to get acid because it's passive (except one step, where you put acid into barrel manually)

Better off making the food to double acid drops and destroy deviants around level 40+ zone.

Either you get lucky with sulfur chemist or it's rip.

given my work. the passive is worth setting up. even if away for 14 hours. Can at least log in to hundreds of acid.

not necessarily, trade exists.
e.g. if you get perk to get double tungsten ingots, then you can sell them to other players for acid. it costs me 50 acid to make 100 tungsten ingots, it costs other players 100 acid. I can sell 100 ingots for 75 acid and everyone is happy.

To trick you into thinking this game has real depth.
