Get rid of the Controllers

Please remove the Controllers Players should be rewarded for the stuff there doing not Timegated in another way

Not timegated, skill issue. I have over 100 controllers by:

a.) going around the map and solving all puzzles and tasks
b.) Opening all crates (including morphic) and find all accessories
c.) going to vendors and spend in game currencies which you get from a and b to get more controllers

I am swimming in stardust source, acid and controllers, just by playing the game.

To be fair, everyone criticizing the game has a point that no one wants to see. Its free right now to entice and hook us, like a drug dealer does in real life. In a few months when mobile version comes out, it will turn into exactly what we all know in the back of our minds

The intentionally misleading gacha machine is already there, the unfair RNG, items giving better loot if you have them on you (controllers), etc. This is all part of the plan, and they are 100% going to cater to the convenient p2w mobile game crowd.

"Aw man that sucks. I can't do this right now because I'm at work, and it will take at least 5 hours of grinding when I get home, but I'm tired. I know! I'll buy 15 controllers from the shop for $5!"

Multiply that quote exponentially and you have a cow ready to be milked by 100,000 people. $$$$$$$$$$

And are you not aware that every serious player has gone through those 100 controllers within a week at the very most? Today I ran a silo group for about 6 hours, and wasted over 70 on mods that didn't apply to my build.

Getting 9 mods (clothes, 2 weapons, melee) with the secondary effects you want will absolutely take all of your controllers

...How did you read what I said yet somehow also failed to see that I said EVENTUALLY it will be pay for convenience (which in pvp will be pay to win)

I have over 200 hours and am a serious player. I have spent a whole lot of controllers on silos to redo them, I still have more than 50. Just do not waste them on low level silos/bosses. Keep them for the stuff that matters.

Eventually we get a world reset and you get even more controllers. Eventually every game runs out of everything. I am over 200 hours and have yet to run out of stuff and am gold armor and gold weapons with Tier 2 each.

Its obvious that the game is designed with a P2W fallback, but i have to say, the gacha system balanced around full free 2 play is really cool.

Whatever they do in the future, season 1 will remain a good experience for a lot of people despite the problems, like servers full but not that active, house fully bugged etc for FREE.
They could largely sustain this economic system like fornite, league of legends, dota etc did for years.

It is not obvious, what is obvious is that free to play drags in a certain crowd that thinks a game company is a charity. If everyone who likes the game gets battle pass each season, they will make enough money to continue. I want them to continue.

to be fair i have done all this every singel one and have litheraly 40 left by farming for usefull mods

Developers don't mean anything in the grand scheme. They make the game, but its the scumbag marketing teams that will squeeze the game for all its worth

Netease is the parent company and I have no doubt they will take the reins at some point. It's out of the devs control. Starry did indeed say they will all quit if this happens, but all Netease has to do is fire them or give them some legal stuff (its China so they will probably just disappear if they don't comply)

Wrong again. I already know you don't understand what is going on here but I'll burst your bubble about you being nice to the devs. The money give this COMPANY is not going to the devs. It is not a small privately owned indie company, it is NETEASE owned by China. The amount the devs are being paid is fixed, and the money you give is mostly going to Netease CEOs and the CCP.

If somebody ran out of cotrollers it just means that he treats a game too serious and its his fault. At this point game has no real challenge to min max so much I spent a lot of time doing dungeons and stuff and still has like 70 with another weekly coming i think I wont be spending all of them till wipe.

But theres a guy that has a point - why doing this stupid p2w mechanics without players being able to actually pay real money for them? Bcs this is pc version and they know pc players dont like it, but as soon as mobile version comes in there will be controllers and wish machine for real money Im 99% sure of it.

This game does not have a pay to win mechanics, that is why. Schicic if you don't like playing a chinese game or mistrust them so much, then you really should quit and play something else.

Keep politics out of gaming I say. a business is a business and I honestly do not care where my money goes if I like the product.

This game will never be pay to win, the devs already said so. No mechanic in the game now to say otherwise. I am a software architect and design large scale corporate applications. Most of the apps I design are more pay to win that this one. Most apps in corporate space are pay to use/win. There is no such thing as a free lunch in software development.
