What needs to be done?
Territory - Territory Protection - Advanced Weapons
Build an intermediate gear workbench and craft 0/1 T3 weapons

I've already done everything, but it doesn't count

Are you sure you built the INTERMEDIATE gear workbench? There's 3 different ones. Standard, Intermediate, and Advanced. Each is its own separate furnishing item. You can't just build the Standard. You have to replace it with Intermediate.

Build an Intermediate workbench. Select weapon then click Tier III on the right side. It worked for me.

I'm stuck here as well. I've also tried upgrading BP, like dwaustin2005 said, and nada. Tried demolishing/rebuilding workbench to retry... nothing again. BP was T3, and weapon was T3. It's the last thing I need to complete it.

I went to a friends house and built one there and after I built it, I equipped it and it worked

demolish your workbench and rebuild (this is why it wasnt working for me), go to craft the weapon, select the Tier 3 option and craft it.

Just in case anyone else has this issue... I had it as well, tried all the above... and then on a whim I made a T3 pistol INSTEAD OF a T3 melee weapon - and it completed. Don't be stupid like me. :)

Its one of the many various game-breaking bugs in the game. It also impacts certain Journeys as well, you perform the objective and it doesn't complete. After several days, it will just complete on its own once the server wakes up.

I always forget "weapon" means ranged in this game - thanks!

New int workbench. 3 star pistol at tier 3. Not working.
