Once Human Official Discord

Just a heads up. My run in with the official server, to try and find people to play with on discord has been a massive failure. Mainly because the official discord requires not just your actual phone number, but your username and password to your account. I DO NOT TRUST IT! This is the main reason why i stopped playing, because there is only so much to do Solo.. Half the time idek what im setting out to do in that game, so joining up with people who are more task oriented, who are knowledgable about the games features, is paramount to having fun for me. Doing new things, comparing base layouts etc... ALL of that potential started and ended with the official discord channel requiring my phone number, username and password

Never had to do what the OP stated. Which makes me think they are mistaken a Discord thing for a OH discord channel thing.

Are you confident it was the official Discord server? No one offering any service (unless it is a scammer) will ever ask you for your password. This should be basic online common sense.

The phone number part isn't just a OH thing, it's a setting you can turn on in discord to have joining members be required to have a number connected to their account. The username and pass is a bit weird tho if thats true.

Hello.

The official Once Human Discord server does not ask for your account information. However, to be able to send messages in the server, you need to verify your identity by phone.
Note that this is a verification feature used by Discord. It does not give the Once Human Discord server owners your information, but the server checks against Discord if your account is verified or not.
The reason for this is both to counter spam, as well as it's adding another layer of defense to your own account.
