Ripple in spacetime?

Please let us turn off that message. It is very annoying when you receive it ten times in three seconds with the sound effect. The sound effect is the same when you arrive and leave someone's territory. There are places where you get a pointless series of that message and sound effect just because you go along "whispers" and territories. And when the message should indicate that there is a crate or box, you never know, if that is a crate, or a message...

9 times out of 10 its a whisper in my experience, so I stopped bothering to check anymore lol. the sheer amount of whisper litter is insane, they need to be on a degradation timer or something.

Yes, ripple in time is to point out a whisper has been placed by a player. In previous betas, they indicated a hidden morphic crate was nearby, but that has since been replaced by the flashing light on the top right of your backpack.

You can hide player created whispers in your settings. Not sure the exact path to do so but it's on one of the settings page near/at the bottom. I've found that 99.9% of the player whispers are pointless and useless, so turning them off, you lose nothing of value.

But it never made a sound before. Ever since the patch the game is literally unplayable because of the flood of that insanely annoying sound every half a second ANYTHING happens. Whisper, my shrooms plant something, I loot something, it's just noise noise noise noise.

You can't turn it off, even if I turned off every sound complete, SFX, dialog, music, EVERYTHING, the annoying noise is STILL there! WHY?!

Yes please let us turn that sound off, it's just constantly making it as you run throughout the game.

Best thing I ever did was turn off the Whisper gabage on day one.

Thanks! Now i realized it can be turned off! SETTINGS > MOUSE/DISPLAY > at the bottom > Display Whispers can be turned on/off.

RIpples also tell you where Morphic crates are. Along with the blinky light on your backpack

Go to Settings>Gameplay>scroll all the way down and turn those Whispers OFF.

When I took it upon myself to hunt down all 113 Morphic Crates, I found that the whispers were often in the way and useless. If you can't pay attention to a blinking light, then you don't deserve to find the crate.
