not only was it heck of annoying but it seemed like it was also taking up some processing power. my game doesn't have as constant lag spikes...
I'm only turning it off and on real quick if I'm in an area where I decide I need help on a puzzle now. Or if I'm at a point of interest and just want to see what people have to share.
Some fairly small things like muting messages that are under bases or resource nodes and hinder or prevent gameplay or reducing the volume of them in a given area would certainly help improve what they have.
Most puzzles are easy enough and once you figure out that the mystical chests are usually on a rooftop assistance for the anything else is far easier to simply google for a solution.
And it also stops the whisper fight at loot crates, no more clicking 10 random whispers instead of the crate you want to loot.
I want to keep them on but they more often than not are too close to chests and I end up having to turn the camera around just so to target the chest and not the whisper. A different key assigned to whisper would stop this.
A toggle might be nice for turning them on and off
