Motorcycle
I can no longer turn at full speed without taking damage. On flat ground or steep, a long swooping turn caused multiple "collisions" within a second.

the bike is no longer of any use... I'm not going to make a trip, repaired/repaired/repaired/repaired....

I assume you don't ride a motorcycle in real life? If the angle is too great, either the exhaust or the footrests will bottom out.
And believe me, if this happens to you in real life, then the damage to the motorcycle will be the least of your problems! Normally it levers you out and you fly off.
It does have a certain learning effect... you learn the limits of driving physics in a playful way ;)

Are you saying it should have magical bikes that don't take any damage then? The point of the system is to make it more realistic... and grindy.

They should allow us to have repair kits on the motorcycle itself, the kits could repair a small portion of its health just to allow us to get a little further. It is super boring to be out in nowhere and there is nothing else to do than to teleport back to repair your motorcycle..

I think they were goin for the route of it's a game, where they assume the max turn wouldn't end up in damage since we can't really "limit" our turn. *unless we got controller support with this patch* I haven't checked yet, then we could only turn at 25 or 50 for example isntead of 100 or 0.

portable repair kits would be nice also. Also is it just me or do the repair costs not scale with more or less dmg to the vehicle. I could almost swear it costs the same amount at 1% dmaged compared to 99% damaged.

No idea but if it's that the case I have been wasting a lot of ressources :lunar2019laughingpig:

Yup it always cost the same @Jaregon. This could be a good or bad thing depending on the person. For me it is a good thing but it will probably be changed

I assume you never ridden a sport bike or one similar to the in game one, b/c it can most certainly take corners at a stepper angle then in game!

I actually like the physics once you start to understand what's going on...
+1 for repair kits

yeah. definitely only repair it when it starts losing speed

The physics of vehicles absolutely suck. You can't play the but hu hu realism card and then praise the physics wtf

You are correct; repair costs dont currently scale (fine by me, lol)

I too get a tad annoyed when the bike scrapes the floor when in a 'max turn' and gets damaged; though i have come to reduce it a significant amount by laying off the W key when making my turns since braking is also pretty much 0 or 100 with little in between beyond tapping the keys like youre doing morse code, haha

Your feeling is correct, just a bit damage costs the same to repair as totally broken, this also goes for armor and weapons by the way.
