Yes, we apparently have a body weight mechanics here. And mine is 71 kgs which has a buff of carrying more item weight among having less torso damage (lol)... My char is at a moderately good weight where there's no bad side effect.
If you're worried about your character weight, go make foods that'll make your character gain some. For example Fish and Chips and french fries are a good way to gain some pounds. Ofc if someone wants to lose weight, there are so many ways to go about it. XD
To gain weight in the game:
-Eat foods that have the muscle building tag on them, like fish and chips(invest in memetics for cooking to get this recipe) and french fries
-Avoid things that'll give you an upset tummy like spoiled foods, uncooked meats, and uncleaned water
-Sleep next to your extradimensional cat deviant. (you get in settlements floating around near the vendors)
-Eat until you're stuffed.
