Once Human

Once Human

The reason why Once human will fail.
Its very basic I do not like having to farm a crystal that you need to craft an item, to repair and item, You will literally spend 2 to 4 hours trying to collect these things and its not worth it if all you wanted to do was run Silo events or boss event back to back. SO I quit. Game is not worth playing if I have to farm hours to repair my end game gear.

I've not farmed once for repair materials. Not sure what you're doing wrong.
Also, this isn't an airport. No need to announce your departure.

I don't farm crystals. I craft them. Someone on your server can do it too.

Have you ever been to an airport? Unhappy people can be very vocal and express their dissatisfactions. The OP didn't just announce his departure, he explained why. which goes more to the idea of forums (than simple say I quit).

He has a point and probably many will agree with it. Personally I think the game needs balance with high end materials and how they are obtained, and I guarantee you there will be changes to this; however, I'm leaning towards everything requiring MORE not less, they just need to make it more fun to "grind". (Keep in mind, wiping character levels is unaccounted for, for more not less idea).

It's basically, make "seasons" last way longer but make all the leveling slower. I understand people will say that would get boring, but keep in mind it's the devs job to make a fun design for this, if they wanted to. Just my 2 cents, not demanding anything.

As of right now, you can acquire mostly everything with ease so it diminishes the accomplishment of building a base or a big base. In my experience higher level weapons are getting harder to calibrate and that's actually a good thing. as long as "grinding" for the materials is fun. They need more of those random location quests, some of which are pretty great and fun, so you forget you are farming, you are just chasing objectives and shooting things in the face, which is fun but can get stale without a reason to shoot them.

Yeah, and I'm sure he will / would. it's everyone with the "bye" comments that make the quit posters keep posting. This one hasn't yet.

Trade with another player for them.

Problem solved.

Every game has this, this being people who read a post about why someone is quitting then you get people ALWAYS say things like "Bye" "This is not an airport" etc.

I very much doubt anyone who is involved in the game reads steam but if they did they would see at least one reason why people are quitting and then they can change it and everyone wins.

I am not quitting but might stop playing as much as after starting a new toon on 3 server I have done the game to death and the latest server which is still in week 1 just shows to me how boring the first 2 weeks are.

I did enjoy it the first time but even then I had nothing to do for days so made another toon on an older server so I could basically skip the wait and THEN when I was waiting on that server I made another on a new server with the idea that I could use what I learned and have better blueprints but now after 2 days I have nothing to do and know that farming the silo/boss in the starting area is a waste of time so yup bored :-).

People who read this might be people thinking about playing it and knowing these things might save them time so sure its ok for the first few days but then you will get bored and leave anyway.

when you start running endgame instances like lea, giant or pro silos, all the materials drop waaaay more than you need. only thing you need to "farm" is the ores you mine, like tungsten or aluminium.
only thing that is somehow rarer is stardust source and acid.
now what i REALLY wanna be able to farm is starcrom.
and controllers. but that shoud be DELETED from the game. you needing in item to get the loot you killed the boss for? gtfo with that noise.

The crystals are incredibly common. I get tons of them from basic looting. Not sure what the OP is doing wrong where this is an issue. Having to acquire resources to repair your armor and weapons is common to many games in this genre.

Plus they're tradeable, so you could set up a vending machine and set the prices for trade items to be... wait for it... the crystals you need/want.

Are you allergic to hard work? You must be new to the game. Because I don't ever have problems repairing my gears. Especially my Legendary Tier V gears. Via gameplay alone, and literally looting (as you SHOULD be doing), you should be able to repair your equips with no issue. Especially if you have the (given via main story) deviant that loots chests for items.
O_o. Complain about something that's actually a problem please. Not you pointing out that you're LAZY.
