T-Man told me that he was giving me a sherriff's hat, where is it?

After completing Securement Silo Alpha, T-Man told me that he was giving me a sheriff's hat, where is it?

I literally came here to ask the same thing. I've checked all my inventory and even the cosmetics tab to see but nada

Dude. Probably the first quest reward I really cared about...and same...big ole promise to make me Sheriff, hat n' everything...and I'm still wearing my silly ass baseball cap like a chump. Ain't no one gonna respect my authoritah...

in a later mission he mentions an additional reward left by the client somewhere, but I never found it; Pretty sure its all just fluff and the items team never got the memo that the dialog team gave him these lines.

Someone on reddit believes either there was a translation issue or the dialogue is a hang over from previous plans. Often I find T-Man was never really supposed to be in front of the Silos, based on the conversations I've had from him.

Pretty sure the reward he gives you when you complete the quest is all you're gonna get.

I'd be careful - I get the feeling that T-Man is kind of like Lowe - soft-spoken, articulate, *seemingly* "good people", but crossing them would be a very unwise plan.

In all seriousness, I see this a lot from rewards - "Here's a little something extra", "Here's a bonus", "Here's some extra supplies", "Here's some extra ammo" etc., with quest reward redemption, and it's always just been the same ol' boring rewards. It seems like such an easy thing to add, just a special chest rewarded when an NPC mentions something like this, with a random formula/cosmetic/etc. A nice bonus, while still getting the original reward.

I believe this as well. Before this game went public, I first met T-Man in a settlement and I just walked passed him and dood started talking to me like we've known each other for 10 years.

The dialogue in this game is all over the place at times.. :/
Disappointed our mc doesn't talk anymore, just emote like Nick Cage when he's acting in a movie. Pretty much makes me care less for my MC this way.

I just took that to mean either a) T-Man knew me before I was decanted, or b) he's a meta-character that remembers us through server wipes.

I think a lot of people forget that our character had a life before we took control that they simply do not remember. T-Man even tells you straight up that you used to work together before you disappeared.

They really need to do something about that hat and when people say there are doing something and then don't. I have checked for that so many times...
