refund on in game purchase

I recently purchased the the $49.99 token package to buy the “ Steel Frame Glass Sun Room “ and it said that it could be shared between 4 players so me and my friends bought that to shared between us using my steam account but it was not what I expected it to be. I thought after bought it we could share and build our territories by ourself but turn out that I had to build it for them which is very inconvenient for me. I hope that I could get a refund for this and I haven’t placed any single new glass skin on my territory nor my friends. Please understand this as I also want to have a good experiences with this game in the future.

Afaik MTX purchases are not refundable. On top of it you can share that skin somewhere in the cosmetic tab... don't ask me where exactly I haven't bought it.

I had the same issue and spoke with support, was told they will not refund for anything other than the "duplicate cosmetics purchased on dif servers" or some crap that was going around originally. So most likely you will get the same response. I also bought this just to share w/ 4 friends to realize its only me being able to change their bases for them not actually share with them.

Come on, they knew people were gonna do that and split the money in 4. They want to make big money, so i dont think this is possible '' Share '' just means you can build them on another territory than yours

Literally close to no microtransactions in any mmo despite all extremely niche examples can be given to your friends. This is common knowledge because if you could pass out free passes or items to players without anyone ever paying something they would never make money.

Sure that makes sense, but if you read the description of that specific item it literally says share with your friends in the item itself, no other item specifically says as such lol

I believe you need to use the "share" button in the build list screen. In there, you can select the paid cosmetic to share with, it can share with up to 4 person. I know the there is a lot of different interfaces but the option is there.

The issue they have, as did I but already went through all this. Is the share is not sharing it w/ them, its just you need build permissions and you simply build it for them like any other item in the game, just that specific item is limited to 4 friends you can do this with lol so if anything its more limited i guess than other items? But they advertise it is shareable with up to 4 friends which it technically isnt in the manner they try to advertise.

But isn't this how it works? My Hive buddys bought that stuff and shared it (however) and everyone is able to build their own stuff with the skin. I ask them how they did it or if I got something wrong.

I'm sorry but for what little they give you, even if it could have been shared, $50 is an ABSOLUTE rip off...... Devs need to figure themselves out and stop being greedy money grabbers. it only adds on to the negative impact they have already brought to the game

It's a f2p game with no P2W. It's up to the Devs how much they charge for skins and guess what everybody has a choice if they want to purchase it or not.
