Dead servers, dead game

All the old servers are locked and say the population is full when in fact only a few people are left playing, I can see there are less activity in my servers world chat and often it is the same people who is talking. New players cannot join it so it is a matter of time before it dies, just like the way new world set up their servers.

Server has to be unlocked, this is already a bad system to begin with, they need to unlock old servers and stop creating new servers. This is probably the number 1 thing holding me back from playing more, knowing that your server will die, so what is the point in playing? 130k concurrent players, worthless stat if there are no active players in your server.

What are your thoughts on this?

Agree 100%, if you want to be on a populated server you need to restart every week and join the newly created servers that are not locked.. This is probably the worst "server system" ive ever seen...

I think that is a good purpose of the wipes that are coming, all the people who played and left won't come back after wipe which means the player base that is left will be compacted into the same servers and they won't feel as dead.

I personally think this should be their number 1 priority, a lot of people are uninstalling already because they can't play with friends etc

Ye, it is ridiculously, 200k concurrent playeres but actually its more like 2k because of the server system

Well, that is only if they merge the servers, otherwise, joining a new server will not carry any previous progression over, it is a pain.

lmao, this game was dead when they couldn't get it to run on mobile phones, and decided to run this on PC instead. They have FAILED to capitalize on the launch, 99.9% of players aren't coming back to this hot mess.

Untrue - I managed to get into a server I wanted which was opened on the second day. If you mess around with the log in options you may get a server you want. Many people have left after the mad rush and now there is plenty of room.

I felt like getting back on now that irl things and two games are done with for now, but chances of many people on now doesn't sound good in my server.
Perhaps tomorrow, i got some catching up with stupid news and hardware plans.

No they are not...hit 50 and nothing to do really and with wipes no reason to grind and their is no end game content to speak of...by season 3 this game will fail and devs skin store money will dry up and then their will really be NO new content...Bet me

They've already lost ALL momentum from launch. game is done....

When people complete current content they tend to step away from a game until more/new content has been added.
Game has barely been out, the devs will still release more content down the line.
No game ever keeps its day one player counts.
Also, the game is not dead as when i was playing every were i went there was at least 1-2 players there or nearby.

Dunno about that. Usually I don't see that many people because the map is big. But I see a lot of people during events and prime wars. And a lot when a new phase has started.

But the system where you can create new characters on the server - garbage. You can't play with friends who started to play the game before you, and there are a lot of abandoned buildings everywhere.
