Connecting pipes
Why can I not get the flow in the right direction ? It shows how the water is flowing through the pipes . I got it to work one time by chance capturing rain water , into filter ,pump then storage . It all worked fine . Now no matter what I do I can not get the pipes to flow correctly . No matter how I connect it or which one I connect first , the water always flows backwards and the osmosis wont function properly . I cant get the water to flow from pump to osmosis filter even . It wants to pump from the filter into the river ...

without pump (normal pump, not water pump), the water pump flow down and you need to raise the pump.

if you have intermediary pump to pump the water from the water pump to the device, it needs to be in between.. as is will pump water below it to it, and then up to wherever.,..

to make the pipes flow in the right direction you need to make the one doing the transferring higher than the receiver. it's a pain at time, and is the reason my water pump is just floating in mid air and not even in the water :D

My water pump is maxed on the adjustable height, and my pump to send it up to the second floor is below the water pump in height, but no matter what I do it tries to flow from the pump, uphill, back to the water pump. Definitely broken and frustrating to try piping anything in this game.

One thing to note is if both input and output are on the same height, the game determines water flow direction by the camera angle you used when connecting pipes.

Thanks for the tip. Didn't realize you need it to flow down unless you use a pump to pull it up.
