Seeds?

I've planted corn in my territory...

But when it grows and I harvest it, all I get is the corn... but no seeds.

How do I get more seeds?

I just started farming, but I've gotten seeds back each time.

I have automatic irrigation and artificial light to keep things in the perfect zone, so maybe that's it?

I have always gotten a seed back from a planted crop. There is fertilizer you can make that will give you 2 seeds.

Is there something wrong with the soil where you chose to plant? It can be polluted. My plot is 20% Polluted.

I'm using planter boxes, with basic fertilizer and purified water...

I found the problem though, I didnt have the Shroom dude...

I have him now, and he is auto harvesting my crops and giving me back seeds as well.

You don't need shroom dude to get seeds, as far as I can tell. All shroom dude does is prevent you from using fertilizers. So it's a trade-off. I get seeds from manual harvesting or from shroom dude.

Although I lost my cucumbers during a base move which put my planters underground and, I guess, despawned them. That was a piss off.
