That's a good rule of thumb for every deviant in your base. The more power they have when they go active, the more efficient they'll be.
I personally haven't been able to get it to work properly though. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong with it.
so regardless of power being set to max i still need a mining platform?
I think they were designed this way for 2 reasons, first, to prevent players to have access to end-game materials too early, and second, to allow you to focus in the end-game farming without the need to go to the initial areas to get materials.
The game was designed around the concept that all players will move their bases to the higher lvl areas as the season progress.
So Digbys are pointless after Ironriver. Bit of a shame. Don't think that was well thought through by the devs
I have to note that I don't come from the unicorn and butterfly department, with "flaming swords", incantations, magic potions, etc., but from realistic military simulations
Strategies and tactics are more familiar and more important to me than imagination........what do you call it? Buffs? Doesn't matter. Good armor and sensible weapons... and tactical approach are more important to me. This is how I approach every mission or task, and so far I haven't even died in the process. By the way, tactical retreat is a recognized option in the military. After all, I reached level 46 in a week and completed all the tasks.
That may also be the reason why I don't cooperate with any other players, only with friends who come from the same background as me. All we need are silenced sniper rifles and a dose of attention. When most of the enemies have been eliminated from a long distance, you switch to a good assault rifle or machine gun and go into close combat mode. But even then, carefully, slowly and gradually.
I have a butterfly in my backpack... honestly, I haven't even unpacked it. Just the process of dialing the thing, then telling it what to do, and THEN it finally starts? What a b..sh.t! I point a machine gun and pull the trigger. THIS is how weapons should work.
Well no matter. Just that this is just my personal opinion and playing style. Otherwise I accept any "wizard" or "healer".....or whatever you call yourself. Have a nice day!
Unlike some people i'm lucky to find 1hr to play most days so passive farming is nice. Deviants are nice for us casual players with a life other than gaming.
yeah but doing missions is even more enjoyable than grinding. so if i had a choice id be out exploring and doing missions not grinding mats thats a npc in the game is already supposed to do for me. regardless of how slow.
After I got a solar drill, I went and smashed every rock I could find for at most 10 minutes and I was set for at least 20 hours before having to do it again.
