Starchrom hard to get?

How am I supposed to get the legendary blueprints if you are limited to 40 starchrom a week, a handful from a few quests, and then the battlepass? What am I missing?

You are not limited to 40 SC a week. with level 3 cortex you can clean 4000 (40 times 100) a week. You got nearly 6k from the season goals this week and other stuff got me another 3k. In 2 weeks I had enough SC to buy 4 legendary armor pieces and two legendary weapons. You are missing the fact that you need to do ALL the challenges and tasks and max out your cortex to level 3.

i thought the 40 was 40 starchrom per week, not 40 cortexes :D

To farm cortex's, I basically go to Blackfell, world 1, kill all elites, then go to world 2, rinse and repeat until I reach world 10 (takes about an hour). Gives me enough cortex' to have 9 level 3. Do that one once a day for 4 days which is about 4-5 hours of overall game time and you will have enough level 3 to max out the week.

I have 80 something level 3 cortex in my base, and thats after giving 40 to a friend. I also purify my own every week. The cortex's aren't hard to get, they are everywhere like candy. Makes that stupid Chaos cortex thing bull Sh*t and a waste of space.

Assuming you're at max level, you should be getting around 9 - 12k starcrom a week.

- 5k from getting the 3 star season goal rewards

- 4k from base defence purifying your cortex thing

- 3k from hard primewar (Only gives you 1k first time you clear them, then you get no starcrom)

I don't know how much the pro primewars are going to give you but you should be able to get atleast 2.4k Starcrom from doing all normal prime war and 3k Starcrom from doing all Hard Primewars. Keep in mind if you've done all these already you don't get starcrom again. It's only first time you clear them.

Also don't forget some of the surveys they handed out gave 300 starcrom each so make sure to do those if you see any. I don't think the most recent survey gave any starcrom though unfortunatly but they had ones before on the esc menu bottom right tab that gave starcrom.

TLDR: most of your starcrom should be coming from getting the 3star reward for seasonal goals and completing base defence. Should be around 9k starcrom weekly

Ye forgetting 8 crates of 500 crom per season you can get from the trader in settlements. Not much overall but enough to add to getting them blueprints

There are a few different places to get Starchrome, the free battlepass, there's a vendor in town that sells a limited number of crates, you also do your defense at your base with your purifier for up to 4000 a week, as well as seasonal goals. In total over the course of the season, you should be able to earn around 30-40,000 Starchrome without much issue, though there's definitely more than that on the table. Prime war also gives starchrome on first clear.

I've bought a legendary weapon, a legendary set of armor and pair of unique gloves. Each piece of armor was 3,000, I bought 4 pieces, my gloves were 8,000, and my gun was also 8,000, I've got 2,000 left on me. So in total, I've gone through 32,000 Starchrome. Now realistically, I've spent quite a bit more, because I wasted a bunch before I actually understood how it worked. I've definitely gone through over 40,000, and we're only half way through the season.
