The game is getting boring and a waste of time

Dont get me wrong, i like the game, but more and more things seem like they need a QoL patch because they are like almost meant to waste time. Like the delay on movement, which makes targeting smaller stuff really hard. And activating those card readers, where you have to be positioned in the weirdest ways for F to appear and when i press it, there is a long animation until the character is in the correct place to touch the card to the reader...
And roads are made purposefully very serpentine so you must travel like 5km to reach a POI that is 0.5km from you.
Also all the restrictions like only 40 refinements per week for starcrom, like why? let me just refine them if i have them.
Anyway, cool game, just very easy to reach boredom level after a while.
Maybe i am just getting bored after i reached lvl 50...

But for example in ARK, even at endgame there is always something to do that is fun.

PS: Oh and whoever is stealing my crops when i am logged out, may your peepee dry and fall off. I know it is one of my friends, but i have no idea who it is.

I feel the same. I also think there isn't enough content to justify the 6 weeks wipe period at all. As with most games, the longer you play, the more bad thing you will notice. Such as missing QoL features or annoying gameplay mechanics in general. For me it's the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ body blocking from enemies AND teammates. I sure love trying to loot a chest in a small room with a party of 4. For now, we don't know anything about what the devs are going to do with the game in the future... Could be they port it to mobile and call it a day or actually try to improve the game and keep a healthy playerbase. Still though, for a F2P game it sure is fun to play.

The gating on everything is starting to wear me down. There's no real loot just garbage to recycle, and if you run out of controllers can't even get mods from silos.

Ark, wtf? How long is ark out? How long is once human out? I played ark since the first EA release and it was crap asf.

ark was fun, i play it since 2016, and i still enjoy it. but it can be played single pler so it has another approach.
lately it got some p2w microtransactions so starting to become trash, but because the publishers are garbage humans and that cant be helped.
once human is not trash, it's just super restrictive, and i bet it is because of the cash shop. even if it is not p2w, they want you to keep you ingame as long as possible, to be a potential buyer.
some of us dislike that, and feeling like this game like all "free to play" games, they make it a chore. and infantilize the user by restricting how much starcrom you can get or controllers (controllers are the stupidest idea ever, and are the foreshadowing of very nasty p2w stuff in the future.) every time agame retsricts the things that make the game fun, you can bet your hiney that sooner or later you will be able to buy more "fun" by paying.
this is why i like games where you pey once, or even pay monthly like wow, and they let you play how you want.

If I wasn't stuck on an Asian server where Thai is the predominant language, since we did not get servers in OCE or if my friends and I could actually play on the same server (yeah nah on starting again), I would have something to do. This way, I am afraid, half way through the season its a big bump. 8000 Star Dust source doing nothing 61 Cortex Lvl 3 doing nothing, 7000 Acid doing, you guessed it nothing :). And I have over 90 controllers, since I went and opened every crate and accessory up on the map (yes, I did it). 3 week seasons bring them on please. Can I have the wipe now devs?

Agree with you and Xaro,
I started on a new server not knowing about the time gate so I started on an older server so I could do the most content only to get to level 50 and be bored and the server was a mess like a prime war where people have put walls all over and cant build a cannon to kill boss and acid @60 which basically means a waste of time.
Went back to the other newer server and got to 50 again and since the prime war just started at least I can do that but not many people playing so again boring.

It was alright when you were exploring and getting blueprint frags but then when you basically have to wait a week to get some more its just dull and ofc having to wait for a week for the next stage and having nothing to do.

Maybe you should just uninstall the game and be done with it, If it it is not for you, so be it. Game will get more content over time. This is literally the first season. I am not too worried.

Many games that began development a few years ago were basically commercials for 4k monitors designed to run at 30fps on a thousand dollar GPU.

Give the devs a little slack. Most don't have the resources to develop their own engines from scratch and the ones that do can't be expected to get everything right.
