i have a 3070 and on medium settings at 1440p this game uses 100% of my gpu and makes my fans go crazy. this is the only game that does this, triple a games with better graphics dont do this so it isnt a cooling problem. is china mining bitcoin on my pc or something?

Like most open world + newly released EA games, the core of the game is not yet fully optimized leading to memory overflow issues and common issues for big games like this one. Important to give them feedback.

Considering the massive graphic size and nature of the game, only requiring 8GB RAM to play is extremely low for a 2024 open world game release, compared to other open world games of this size demanding 16GB. I'm happy I'm able to play this game. Yes it needs some work like most big ones

Lower the slider bar of the setting "Render Scale". I lowered mine from 100% down to 70% and the game runs significantly better. It started getting really bad right when I put down 10+ deviant incubators. Every time I walked into that room it seemed like my CPU was going to start cooking. I have a 1080TI that was also running at 80-100% almost constantly but when I lowered that setting the GPU and CPU both stay around 60%-70% until after the game has been running for a while. I reset the game after a couple hours if I continue playing since it's also some how using almost all of my 16 gigs of RAM.
This game is thick af but it's also poorly optimized.

Search Google, should GPU be using 100% you'll get your answer. It isn't a issue and nothing to worry about. As I said if you have a issue with it and temps are high then cap it.

yea i lowered the frame cap to 144 sinze my monitor is 180hz, now my gpu is running at 70 with very high settings.

ive played dragons dogma 2, persona 3 reload, diablo 4, and baldurs gate 3 with this same pc none of them had this problem and all of them were released within the last year. im pretty sure this game just has bas optimization for high refresh rate displays

Dont lie. Rtx 4090 user here, 65°C in once human, 3440x1440 maxed out settings.
