custom server or local

is there a way to have our own custom server or ou own private local server ? the game doesn't feel like other survival that are similar and feel more like an mmo without it being an actual mmo

also personaly im not a big fan of having to restart frequently my save each time i change server or if i want to join a friend so a local server where i could play and invite friend could be fun with them coming with their own local save

or a way to transfer charactere from one server to another (only for pve of course)

No there is no plans for local or private servers.

They are tentative on potential no wipe servers up in their air for now.

You cannot character transfer its server is its server.

They confirmed (twice) there will be private server around the end of the year or in the beginning of the next one.

I can only find references to one statement from December 2023 that it MAY happen post launch with no official confirmation so if you have a better source I'd actually like to see it as i would myself love to have a private server.

The first time was in a article right before the EA release. Cant remember where.
The second was in the dev stream on twitch. It was the 3rd (I think) dev stream they made couple of weeks ago. It came up like 2-3 times as viewer question and that was their answer with the timeframe.

Well It That's a lie They confirmed Long time Ago. When They dont do it, is very Stupid and game will going down. and Offcial server can every time Whipe and al lost, and start over and over Again. When They whis. So private server beter option whit back ups.

I am understand Whipes server That a Bunch Idiot player spawn Every were Foundations and never Return in game. May Once Humen can do Decay system ash In Rust is.
Most wipe servers is most about Spam foundation every were. ect, so you can see on Official servers Atlas, ark, conan exile ect ect. Yess server owner wipe al then. also in pve and pvp. pvpe.

How ever Once Humen in in ful dev Beta, we wil see what come next 2 years from now.
