Side thing, I know status damage is a thing, and elemental damage, but is burn Considered both an element and status, or are weapons with burn doing blaze damage. Honestly don't know how the damage things work. Like what is suppression damage? Idk how this all is considered.
I know you dont want to grind, me either, but after I hit level 50 and started crafting the tier 5 items, i noticed i had so much resources i was able to make every set at tier 5. it actually doesnt cost much. so you will easily be able to craft both sets at tier 5. the only thing that will be expensive is upgrading each piece to the highest calibration level, which probably isnt worth it for anything that isnt legendary since legendary are the only ones that can go to level 10 calibration and are thus the best overall.
So I suggest making the set now that works with your best or favorite gun, then later just make both sets at tier 5 and see which one you ultimately prefer. then when you know what you actually want to invest in, you can start calibration.
