How do food or drinks stack?

Does safety sandwich and shattered bread stack with each other, or do they overwrite each other? I tried whimsical drink and iced tea at the same time and notice drinking the ice tea wiped away the whimsical drink effect as my power surge no longer had an increase in damage from drinking whimsical drink

Each of those little circles at the bottom can hold 1 buff basically. For example use chloro-armor and you will see a (1) show up by one of those circles. I can't give more specific info but that's pretty much it. There's more to it but I don't know all those effects off the top of my head. Basically if they take the same buff slot they will overwrite.
