Still trying to understand deviations mood in securement unit
So i pretty much understand the basics of it, they hold deviations of 3 different types.

I also understand that they use power when active and goes dormant to recharge.
I understand you can use mood to refill power and i know mood goes up faster if you fulfill the securement envoironment.

What i dont understand is how the mood is almost zero at times and some times its full.
When does the deviation mood go down? (ignoring the refill option)
Does mood go down when its dormant or when its active?

Does having 30 vs 100 activation threshold matter?
Like having shorter active cycles give it more time to recover mood?

I guess the main question is when and what causes mood to go down?

My understanding is they both go down when the deviation is active. The reason for the threshold is that, as you said, it gives them time to recover. The work speed is affected by mood, so if you are activating at 30, then they arent spending as much time out and about, which causes the mood to only drop a little bit. Once they go back in their chamber, the mood recovers along with the active power.

The take away for me - atleast for how I understand it - is that if you want them to always be at peak happiness (Since happiness affects work speed) when they do their work, then set the threshold to a low value so they are constantly going in and out and recovering. If you just want them to work as long as possible, even though they will get slower and slower as time goes on, set the threshold to 100.
